|Accessibility, Interaction, Allegiance
By Linda Laverty
It is unusual for a Fortune 500 company to consistently
express gratitude to its homeland, community, and customers who are
considered valued friends.
Frontier is just that company. Frontier is an
accelerating company that practices a humbling protocol. Domestic
investment keeps Frontier at the top of the Communications business.
Specializing in Rural High-Speed Internet services, Frontier brings
rural homes and businesses into the “fast lane.”
This service-oriented icon of over 75 years mixes modern
technology with old-fashioned attention to its customers, who are
considered more “friend” than customer.
An All-American employer that shows allegiance to its country,
community, and people, Frontier employs nearly 15,000 people across 27
states. The company brought back 500 jobs from overseas as part of
their acquisition, and here in the Bay area they employ more than 50
Frontier is a solid American-based business.
“We feel interaction is an important component to our customers.
Our staff based right here in the U.S. are accessible for any support
needed for our customers,” says Will Burge, General Manager.
“We will do whatever is necessary to help our customers.
It’s what we’re known for.”
“Now people in our community can shop for services
that fit their needs and budgets at our new state-of-the-art Experience
Center, through our local staff, and local phone number. People can
visit right here at our Frontier Experience Center on Laclair Avenue in
Coos Bay and see what services they are purchasing, with understanding,
ease, and comfort. Our Experience Center is like a micro
laboratory, with all the “bling” of today’s
technology. People can learn first-hand how every service we offer
works seamlessly to meet their home entertainment and communications
needs,” adds Mr. Burge.
“High-speed internet, gaming, HDTV, phone
landlines—they’re all available to be experienced right
here at our Center,” says Daniel Seleshanko, Small Business
Executive at Frontier. Mr. Seleshanko has come out of retirement to
join the staff at Frontier. “I am excited to help Frontier
customers/friends enter the fast lane with our FrontierFast High Speed
Internet,” says Mr. Seleshanko. “It is rewarding to be part
of a rural broadband company that has pledged to make DSL service
available to the majority of our telephone customers.”
Frontier is grateful to its communities. Each month
donations are delegated to non-profit organizations—our beloved
Egyptian Theatre to name one of many—through a program called The
Great Frontier Donate (GreatFrontierDonate.com).
For attention to detail, affordability, state-of-the-art
technology, and most importantly, individual customer attention,
becoming a Frontier friend just makes good sense. Jake Wilson, Frontier
Communications Experience Center manager is always available to perform
a smart bill review to ensure your services are meeting your needs at
the best price. Bring in your phone or cable bills and they will show
you how Frontier’s plans can help you save money on all your
communication services. Jake will be delighted to host your visit to
the Experience Center, and answer all questions.
Frontier is a refreshing all-American generous company.
We’re fortunate to have a locally based accessible business in
our community. Call 541-269-2020, or visit their new retail store, the
Frontier Experience Center located on Laclair Ave. in Coos Bay (the old
GTE phone store).
