Valentine Dinner and Dance
The first annual dinner and dance for the purpose of raising funds, for scholarships for Marshfield students. Each year in the past the Masonic Lodge in Coos Bay has offered a student from MHS a scholarship.
Our goal, in the future, to award more than one person this help with their college or trade school. It is our hope that we could offer one to a boy and another to a graduating girl. So, to this effort we are happy to announce our first such fund event.
This year we are privileged to present “Hwy 42”, a local country band. If you like classical country and dance, you will miss out by not being there with us. So, bring your dancing slippers and be ready to have fun.
Dinner will be spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, drink, dessert. This is a non-alcoholic event.
There is a limited amount seating, so, please purchase your tickets early. Only 150 tickets will be sold. The cost of the ticket is $10.00.
The event will be held on Saturday, February 17, from 6:30pm-10pm, at the Coos Bay Masonic building, which is located at Fourth and Market streets, to the west of the World building.
Dinner will start serving at 6:30PM and music at approximately 7:30PM.
This event is sponsored by the Coos Bay Masonic Lodge Blanco # 48 AF&AM.
The public is invited and we look forward to meeting you.

South Coast Family Harbor needs your help! We are in need of volunteers for our program. If you like to work with children we have a place for you. We can also use help with answering phones, fund raising and washing donations and sorting them. We also need Board Members. If you can’t volunteer maybe you can help with a donation to the baby closet. We are in need of diapers and pull ups size 4 -6 and wipes. We take gently used items so if you are looking for a place to donate your items we would love to have them. We take just about anything that a baby or child under 5 might use. Thank you.
