14th Annual “Fiddle at the Beach” Oldtime Music Jamboree
Please join the Oregon Oldtime Fiddlers for their 14th annual “Fiddle at the Beach” Oldtime Music Jamboree. The festival begins on the morning of August 17th and runs through the 20st. The event will be held at the Winchester Bay Community Center which is located at 635 Broadway in Winchester Bay. Acoustic jams will be held all day and each evening there will be a stage show beginning with a “Fiddle Jamboree” at 6:00 P.M. Friday night is contest night. This years theme will be Celestial Songs in honor of our upcoming Solar Eclipse, so dress accordingly. A Gospel Show will be featured on stage Sunday morning at 9:00 A.M. which will close the show around 10:30. Admission is Free though donations are greatly appreciated. All are welcome to attend. So put on those Cowboy boots and hat and come enjoy a wide variety of Old Time Music.
The Oregon Oldtime Fiddlers’ Association was founded in 1964 and is a non-profit 501C organization. Our primary mission is to “Promote, preserve and perpetuate Old Time Fiddling and Old Time Music”. If you love to play or just listen to old time music and fiddling please join us for this fun filled musical event, and help us with our mission of preservation by becoming a member of the Oregon Oldtime Fiddlers Association.
Grab your lunch and relax to some tunes on Fridays at noon, starting this Friday July 7 until August 25. Music on the Corner returns to the lot on 4th Street and Anderson in Downtown Coos Bay. Free to attend.
