Oregon Brass Society Christmas Concert. Monday, December 18 at 7pm, Florence Events Center, 715 Quince St.  This event is free to the public with donations accepted.

North Bend Christmas Tree Lighting! Thursday, December 14th, 6-7pm at the North Bend Community Center. Doors opens at 5:45pm, Santa arrives at 6pm. A christmas stocking for every child. Activity tables, appetizers, cookies, coffee, & warm cide will be provided. Enter to win a Poinsettia Drawing and for children 12 & under there will be a Bicycle & Helmet Drawing.
Model Train Show. December 15-17, 10am-9pm at the Pony Village Mall
Storytime with Miss Oregon USA Toneata Morgan.  Sunday, December 17th, 2pm. She’ll be reading “How to catch an Elf” by Adam Wallace on the Stage in Pony Village Mall.
NBPD Toothbrush-4-Christmas Zumba Fundraiser. Sunday, December 17, 1pm-3pm. North Bend Community Center. Work off those Christmas cookie pounds AND do it for a great cause! Body & Soul Fitness by Rachel, LLC has agreed to do a Zumba fundraiser for NBPD’s Toothbrush-4-Christmas Campaign, which provides books, toys, candy, and a toothbrush for over 200 children in our local area! There’s NO cost or tickets needed, cash donations gladly accepted.
Ugly Sweater Holiday Party. Wednesday, December 20, 3-6pm. Hosted by the Coos Drop, 1960 Sherman Ave, North Bend. There will be snacks and refreshments as well as playing games and decorating cookies! 
Girl Scouts’ Annual Tree of Joy. Now through December 22, 2017. Pony Village Mall. Select an ornament from the Tree of Joy, purchase the gift requested on the ornament, and return wrapped gifts with the original ornament by December 20. Coos Bay Public Library Kids & Teens Event: DIY Gifts Friday, December 15, 2:30pm-4:30pm. Make handmade gifts for friends and family at this drop-in event. Quality gifts, cookies and a gift wrap station—don’t miss this FREE event! All craft materials are provided but children may want to bring a paint smock or old t-shirt. 
Santa On A Harley, Saturday, December 16, 11am-1pm. Come down to Coos Bay Toyota and get your picture taken with Santa on a Harley.
Ornament Making For The Whole Family At Coos Art Museum. Saturday, December 16th, 11am-3pm.  Drop in and make Two Wood Slice ornaments – one for the Art Museum’s tree and one to take home! All supplies are provided and all ages are welcome. Admission is Free.

CHARLESTON
4th Annual Kids Fishing Pole Giveaway, December 14, 3-6pm at Englund Marine, 91146 Cape Arago Hwy. For kids ages 14 and under. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Santa will be there for photo ops! This event is made possible by the Marine Corps League Coquille River Detachment 1042 and community members.
31st Annual Holiday Lights at Shore Acres, with at least 325,000 lights. Now through December 31, 2017, 4:00–9:30pm every night (including Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve. Walk-thru Display – All abilities accessible. Open Garden House with hot cider, punch, coffee and cookies! Parking fee $5 per vehicle, or current OPRD Annual Parking Permit, or Coastal Passport, or current Campground Receipt. No additional charge for lights viewing. More info, call 541-756-5401.
BANDON
The Ultimate Christmas Party. Saturday, December 16, 1pm-3pm, at the Bandon Barn/Community Center in Bandon City Park. For children ages 5-12. Christmas Extravaganza. Friday, December 15, 4-6pm  at Sea View Senior Living Community . Join us for our  annual Christmas Extravaganza and Dinner with entertainment provided by favorite local musician Patty Ann and a special appearance from Santa.     
Nature's Coastal Holiday Festival of Lights, with over 500,000 lights. Now through December 31st at Azalea Park. 5pm-9pm. Hot cider, hot chocolate and cookies are provided for a small donation. There is a $2 entry fee for adults, children 12 and under are free. Free parking.
