Woodland Management, Taking Care of a Woodland Property. This five-session course is ideal for anyone who is just starting out taking care of a forested property. Topics covered include caring for an established forest, choosing native tree species for your site, forest health considerations, developing wildlife habitat, creating defensible space from fire, hiring a contractor, and laws and regulations. Field trip: see real examples of things learned in class.
