Bernice Rosel (Mueller) Martin, 90, was born March 28, 1935, in Washougal, Wash., to Dolphe Seba Perry and Nickielous Antone Mueller. She died, Feb. 6, 2026, in Coos Bay.

This colorful lady was always on the go, right up to the end. She loved pie, it was legal for breakfast, lunch, and/ or dinner.

She retired from The House of Myrtlewood. And then, “Ma and Pa” traveled, and spent many happy hours in the dunes on their 3-wheelers. They loved their schnauzers and at times they all wore matching outfits.

Survivors are: son, Bruce Burback, and his children, Mendy Sleight, and Justin and Jacob Burback; daughter, Beth Burback and her son, Jackson Hammar. Bernice also is survived by her siblings Edith Coulter and Melvin Mueller. Her late husband, Darwin’s children are: Dean, Terry, Judy, and Tim Martin. Dale is no longer living.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2-4 p.m., Saturday, March 28, at Black Market Gourmet, located at 495 Central Ave., Coos Bay.Please wear purple in her honor, it was her favorite color!
