Dear Family and Friends,

It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that I share the news of the passing of my beloved husband of 51 years. Douglas William Schade who died peacefully on January 18, 2006 in Roseburg at the age of 83. Doug was a wonderful man and a friend to many.

Doug was born in South Bend, Washington on September 19, 1942. When he was 6 years old he moved to Coos Bay. When he was 19 years old he went into the Navy (1961). Doug enjoyed life - fishing, fishing, fishing, hunting, hiking, four-wheeling, and traveling across the U.S. and Alaska.

Helga Schade is currently planning Celebration of Life at the Ko-Kwel Casino & Resort in North Bend on June 6, 2026. Doors open at 2:00pm and will start at 3:00pm. Dinner will be at 4:30pm. Please RSVP -  text 541-294-6246, by May 22, 2026.
