Acting Up Celebrates Ribbon Cutting and Open House at Pony Village Mall

North Bend, OR - March 20th, 2026 | 4:00-6:00PM

The community is invited to celebrate the official ribbon cutting and open house for Acting Up, a youth acting and confidence-building program owned by local educator and creative entrepreneur Desiree Glenn Gaoiran.

The event will take place Thursday, March 20 from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Pony Village Mall, East Entrance, Suite 162 (the former Harry Ritchie’s location).

Guests are invited to stop by, tour the newly renovated studio space, meet Desiree, and learn more about Acting Up’s upcoming programs for kids and teens.

The open house will give families and community members an opportunity to hear about future workshops, camps, and creative programs designed to help young people build confidence, communication skills, and leadership through acting and improvisation.

Acting Up helps youth develop real-world life skills through creative expression, including public speaking, teamwork, social confidence, and emotional awareness.

The program complements the work of The Hive: Youth Arts & Enterprise Collective, a nonprofit initiative also founded by Gaoiran that supports youth creativity, mentorship, and entrepreneurship on the South Coast.

Community members, families, and local leaders are encouraged to attend the ribbon cutting to welcome Acting Up to its new home at Pony Village Mall and learn how the program is empowering the next generation of young voices in Coos County. ActingUpOregon.com
