Get ready for a swinging good time! Oregon Coast Ballroom Dance Club is thrilled to announce a high-energy West Coast Swing workshop, performance, and social dance event taking place on Saturday, March 28th, 2026, at the Eagles Lodge, 568 S 2nd St, Coos Bay.

Hosted by Paul Rutan, this is a premier dance opportunity with lessons provided by Championship West Coast Swing dancers, Brett Granstrom & Keri Ricker! Participants of all experience levels are welcome, from those who are new to the dance floor to seasoned dancers. The afternoon kicks off at 2 PM with an Intermediate Class, followed by a Beginning Class at 3 PM for those looking to learn the basics. At 4 PM, attendees will be treated to a special performance before the floor opens for a two-hour Social Dance at 4:15 PM.

The event features a Community Mixer with guided rotations to help guests meet new partners, and a high-energy Steals Session (taught in class) to keep the excitement moving.

There are two admission options; the All-Access Pass ($20) Includes both classes, the performance, and the social dance. The Social Pass ($10) includes the performance and social dance only.
