Oregon Students Take the Next Step During College Application Week

Oregon – High schools across Oregon are supporting seniors as they plan for life after graduation during College Application Week, part of the statewide Oregon Goes To College initiative. Throughout November, schools have hosted events to help students complete college and training program applications, explore post-secondary options, and receive hands-on support from educators and volunteers.

College Application Week is designed to ensure every Oregon student, especially first-generation, low-income, and rural students, has the opportunity, resources, and encouragement needed to take the next step toward their future education and career goals.

Schools statewide are celebrating with application workshops, college gear days, hallway decorations, and recognition walls highlighting students’ plans for the future. These events not only guide students through the application process but also build excitement and confidence as they prepare for what comes next.
