The Cookie Barn celebrated a milestone on November 14 with a lively ribbon cutting ceremony for owner Haley Kapande’s brand new cookie studio space. The event was filled with cheerful faces, tasty treats, and a delightful atmosphere. Friends, fans, and community members stopped by to admire the space, snack on goodies, and share in Haley’s excitement as she continues to grow her dream.

Haley began decorating cookies seven years ago, squeezing creativity into her evenings after work while filling requests from locals for birthdays, holidays, and special events. What began as a fun hobby turned into a full blown passion, and two years ago she left her teaching job to pursue cookie decorating full time. Last year she launched decorating classes as a way to give back to the community, and they have quickly become a hit.

At The Cookie Barn, visitors can order custom cookies or sign up for one of Haley’s popular classes, which often sell out fast. With seasonal themes, holiday designs, and private sessions available for everything from birthday parties to bridal showers and office gatherings, there is something sweet for everyone.
